International objectives for the prevention of harmful effects on the environment already exist or are currently being further-enhanced. Improvement of the environment is a priority on many agendas, especially political ones. Van Heck already decided early on to invest in the research and development of pumpunits with reduced environmental impact (low emission, zero leakage, sound proof etc.). Equipment to be used for pumping in a responsible way, mostly day and night. More than 30 years experience has resulted in a substantial level of expertise and this ensures an innovative way of looking at the environment.

Van Heck’s environmental philosophy is - also internationally - greatly valued and honoured.

On the one hand there is the elimination of emissions and the greatly reduced noise nuisance caused by diesel-driven pumping sets - maximum 70 dB(A) at a distance of 3 metres (see diagram).

On the other hand we can speak proudly about the extremely low impact on the environment of the siphon pipework systems, which are used internationally.
