History
The idea, as simple as it is solid, was born quickly in 1964: sometimes there is no other way and pumping is the only solution.
We are talking, of course, about water. There were diesel engines and there were pumps.
However, perfect integration of the two proved to be another story, particularly for special applications. Using carefully considered constructions and modifications, Van Heck has developed pump combinations that can deliver the required result in every application area. Even more important was that the pumps should continue to function in the most difficult of conditions.
The hydraulic engineering – a sector in which the dredger occupies a special place, both nationally and internationally – know this only too well. Roel van Heck, who started a one-man business, has seen it grow into what it is now: an internationally recognized and innovative company in the field of water management.
In the meantime the second generation, in the person of Jeroen van Heck, now has his hands on the tiller.
